Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember certain information about your visit — such as your preferences — so you don't have to re-enter them each time.
Wildewood Pulse uses a single first-party cookie:
| Cookie Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
wp-theme |
Essential / Preference | Stores your light or dark mode preference so the site displays correctly on your next visit. | 1 year (or until cleared) |
Wildewood Pulse does not use:
The only third-party service connected to Wildewood Pulse is Kit (ConvertKit), used for email newsletter delivery. Kit does not set cookies on the Wildewood Pulse website. Any cookies set by Kit apply only on Kit's own hosted pages (e.g., if you visit a Kit-hosted landing page), not on wildewoodpulse.com.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. Deleting the wp-theme cookie will reset your theme preference to the site default (light mode). It will not affect your ability to use any feature of the site.
Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers:
Because we use only a single essential preference cookie — not tracking or advertising cookies — we do not require your consent to set it under GDPR's legitimate interest basis. However, you retain full control to delete it at any time via your browser settings.
If you have questions about how we handle cookies or personal data, see our Privacy Policy or contact us at jaxnexushq@gmail.com.
If we introduce new cookies in the future, we will update this policy and the effective date before doing so. We will not introduce tracking or advertising cookies without providing clear notice and, where required, obtaining your consent.
